At the Reservoir

It was a beautiful fall day and I hated to be stuck inside so I went up to the state park the other day.  The reservoir is really low.  It seems that last winter there was more water than now.  There's hardly anyone ever there...just me, the few resident prairie dogs, rabbits, hawks, geese, blue birds, white pelicans, sea gulls and a great blue nheron or two.  And, oh yeah, a few dragonflies, plain flies, beetles, a bazillion grasshoppers, some crawdads and a fish or two.  I also suspect rattlesnakes, bull snakes, raccoons, deer, antelope and foxes but haven't actually seen any.
