Finally posting!

I got home and then school started and then and then.  You know how it goes.
When I left on my trip it was grey and foggy and snowy.  Not an auspicious start but the trip was wonderful and I hated to come back to the 'real' world.

This is what it looked like at first as I took The High Plains Highway down the eastern side of Colorado.

I stopped in Burlington, CO and they have a restored carousel that is absolute magic!  It's housed in a round building and was closed for the winter but I got some pictures through the glass.  What artistry and skill.  It was lovely and I plan on going back to see it this summer when it's open.
