Life glides by

It's April!?  How'd that happen?  We've been busy, I have a new job I'm about to begin.  Closer to home so I'll be home every night.  I have a new car.  I fell in love with a 2012 Honda Si. I NEVER fall in love with cars...until now.  It's racy and alabaster silver with a sun roof, stick shift and will go at least 110mph because I tried it out the other day...(but please don't tell the cops).

Clyde is still plugging along although the tumor is beginning to tell in his breathing.  The decision will have to be made soon but for now we can avoid it.

The motorhome floor is done, thanks to Brett. I've almost completed the new curtains and valances.  The bins have been emptied, cleaned and refilled in a more organized manner.  Minor repairs to little things are underway.

The black currant is blooming, the raspberries are coming back up, the maple has tags on it, the crabapples are in full pinkish-red and the neighbor's forsythia is blooming.  I've seen pear and plum and redbud blossoms.  Now to start the sprinklers, dethatch the lawn and cover some of the dead spots.

I could give a list of all that needs to be done around here but you'd be reading for the next 6 months or so.

Hope your spring is enjoyable and productive.

  1. You've been busy! Don't start the sprinklers too soon. I'm in Denver, and it is calling for snow here and in Mts. You just never know. If I see a silver Honda go by at 110, I'll know it's you!

  2. Hi Floridagirl, I am wondering if you and my older blogger commenter are one, this seems to be a new home. If you are one and the same, then i have not been here for a while. Good you have a lot to be thankful and happy for!

  3. For some reason, could not comment on your last post but wanted to tell you how sorry I am that Clyde is gone to the Rainbow Bridge. As a dog lover, I know how hard it is to lose them. My Golden died 7 years ago and I still miss her. Hugs to you.
